Below is a list of allowed foods for the Paleo diet food list..
Allowed foods on this Paleo diet food list can vary. The Paleo diet brings you back to eating like our hunter-gatherer ancestors. If they didn’t eat it, then you don’t eat it. I have created two Paleo Diet Food Lists below. The first is ‘acceptable’ foods and the second is ‘foods to avoid’.

Acceptable foods:
Meat
Pork, lamb, beef (lean), bison, deer, elk, duck, turkey, chicken, quail and other lean meats
Fish
Almost any seafood that isn’t fried! Salmon, Tilapia, Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, Oysters, etc.
Fats
Healthy fats can add a lot of flavor to your diet. Use Avocados, olive oil, coconut oil, etc.
Eggs
Any type of edible egg, of course.
Vegetables
Most vegetables including tomatoes, celery, peppers, onions, eggplant, artichoke, okra, asparagus, lettuce, spinach, carrots, squash, etc
Fruits
The best choice is to stick with berries, but other fruits that are acceptable are apples, bananas, oranges, grapefruit, peaches, pears, plums, pineapple, pomegranate, guava, kiwi, lemon, lime, coconut, mango, passion fruit, pomegranate, cantaloupe, figs, etc
Nuts and seeds
Pistachios, Brazil nuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, pecans, walnuts, pine nuts, macadamia nuts, chestnuts, cashews, almonds, hazelnuts
Other acceptable foods:
Mushrooms, Fresh and dried herbs, spices [/one_half]

Foods to Avoid
Dairy foods
Butter, cheese, ice cream, creamers, frozen yogurt, low-fat or whole milk, any processed food made with dairy.
Grains
Barley, Oats, Rice, Corn,Rye, Wheat
Other foods to avoid
Fatty meats like bacon (center cut should be OK), Sweets, Legumes (these are good for you, but technically our ancestors did not eat them), soft drinks, processed foods high in sodium [/one_half]
This is not an exhaustive list. You don’t need to be so strict that you never let yourself have a bagel or a glass of milk. This is just a guide to show you the foods that fit under the Paleo Diet Food List plan and. It is good practice to allow yourself one “cheat” day a week to indulge in diary or sweets.
Some foods on the ‘avoid’ list are healthy. Many health benefits can be achieved by eating beans, for example. Please discuss any diet plan with a health professional.
The concept of the Paleo diet is to rigorously follow the eating routines of our primitive ancestors, cavemen. Cavemen were predators, and gatherers, eating lean meats, fruits and veggies, and were considered to be healthier than we are today.
